Q.2: मुहावरे
अपने प्राणों के बलिदान का अवसर आ गया है। इस वाक्य में “प्राणों का बलिदान देना” मुहावरे का प्रयोग हुआ है। नीचे कुछ और मुहावरे दिए गए हैं। इनका अपने वाक्यों में प्रयोग करो।
टूट पड़ना, निढाल होना, वीरगति पाना, शहीद हो जाना, प्राणों की बाज़ी लगाना, मौत के मुँह में जाना, मैदान में उतरना
Ans : टूट पड़ना- खाना देखते ही भीड़ उस पर टूट पड़ी। निढाल होना- काम करते करते हम निढाल हो गए। वीरगति पाना- वीरगति पाना एक सैनिक के लिए गर्व की बात होती है। शहीद हो जाना- सैनिक देश के लिए शहीद हो जाते हैं । प्राणों की बाज़ी लगाना- सैनिकों ने देश की लाज बचाने के लिए प्राणों की बाज़ी लगा दी। मौत के मुँह में जाना- वह मौत के मुँह में जाते-जाते बच गया। मैदान में उतरना- खिलाडी मैदान में उतर गए हैं।
Q.3: पाठ से
(क) झलकारीबाई ने लक्ष्मीबाई से किस चीज़ की माँग की और क्यों?
(ख) ‘जनरल! झाँसी की रानी को ज़िंदा पकड़ना तुम्हारे बूते की बात नहीं है।’ यह किसने, किससे और क्यों कहा?
(ग) झलकारीबाई का क्या हुआ?
Ans : (क)झलकारीबाई ने लक्ष्मीबाई से उनके वस्त्र, पगड़ी और कलगी की माँग की जिससे वह रानी लक्ष्मीबाई की तरह दिख कर अग्रेंजो की आँखों में धूल झोक सके। (ख)यह पंक्ति झलकारीबाई ने जनरलरोज से कही क्योंकि वह जानतीं थी कि अंग्रेज, वीरांगना, लक्ष्मीबाई को रानी के जीते जी कभी भी पकड़ न पाएँगे। (ग)झलकारीबाई अग्रेंजो से युद्ध करते हुए, वीरता के साथ वीरगति को प्राप्त हुई।
Q.4: खोजबीन
(क) आज़ादी की लड़ाई में हिस्सा लेने वाली कुछ महिलाओं के नाम बताओ।
(ख) रानी लक्ष्मीबाई के बारे में सुभद्रा कुमारी चौहान की एक प्रसिद्ध कविता तुमने पढ़ी या सुनी होगी। उसकी कुछ पंक्तियाँ कॉपी में लिखो।
Ans : (क)कस्तूरबा गांधी, सुभद्रा कुमारी चौहान, विजयालक्ष्मी पंडित, महादेवी वर्मा, मैडम भीकाजी कामा, सुचेता कुपलानी और सिस्टर निवेदिता इत्यादि महिलाओं ने आज़ादी की लड़ाई में हिस्सा लिया था। (ख) सिंहासन हिल उठे राजवंशों ने भृकुटी तानी थी, बूढ़े भारत में आई फिर से नयी जवानी थी, गुमी हुई आज़ादी की कीमत सबने पहचानी थी, दूर फिरंगी को करने की सबने मन में ठानी थी। चमक उठी सन सत्तावन में, वह तलवार पुरानी थी, बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी, खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झाँसी वाली रानी थी।

तुमने इस एकाँकी को अच्छी तरह से अवश्य समझ लिया होगा। अब इस पाठ के आधार पर स्वयं कुछ प्रश्न बनाकर लिखो। उनके उत्तर भी लिखो। यदि तुम चाहो तो उत्तर देने के लिए अपने साथी से प्रश्नों की अदला-बदली भी कर सकते हो।
