Q.1: पाठ से
(क) लोक-कथा में गोमा बिना खेत जोते अपने बैलों को हाँककर घर की ओर क्यों चल पड़ा?
(ख) गोमा को पेड़ के नीचे बैठा देखकर बूढ़ी अम्मा ने उससे क्या कहा?
(ग) गोमा ने अपने खेतों को क्यों जोता?
Ans : (क) इस वर्ष भी आषाढ़ सूखा ही रह गया था। उसने सोचा कि वर्षा की कोई आशा नहीं हैं तो खेत जोतकर क्या करूँगा। इसलिए वह बिना खेत जोते ही बैलों को हाँकते हुए घर ले आया। (ख) गोमा को पेड़ के नीचे बैठे देखकर बूढ़ी अम्मा ने कहा, ये समय तो खेत जोतने का हैं और तुम आराम कर रहे हो। बेटा, वर्षा तुम्हारे हाथ में नहीं हैं। यह तो प्रकृति पर निर्भर हैं। तुम अपना खेत जोतो। वर्षा भी हो जाएगी। तुम अपना काम समय पर करो। प्रकृति अपना काम समय पर करेगी I (ग) गोमा ने अपने खेतों को बूढ़ी अम्मा के कहने पर जोता क्योंकि उसे समझ आ गया था कि अपना काम समय पर करना चाहिए।
Q.2: क्या होता अगर
(क) गोमा खेतों को तैयार न करता?
(ख) गोमा को बूढ़ी अम्मा नहीं मिलती?
(ग) बूढ़ी अम्मा की बात पर गोमा ध्यान न देता?
(घ) इस साल भी वर्षा न होती?
Ans : (क) यदि गोमा खेतों को तैयार न करता तो वर्षा का पानी पूरी तरह खेतों को नहीं मिल पाता। (ख) यदि गोमा को बूढ़ी अम्मा नहीं मिलती तो शायद वह असमंजस में ही रह जाता और समय पर खेत नहीं जोत पाता। (ग) यदि गोमा बूढ़ी अम्मा की बात पर ध्यान न देता तो वर्षा का उपयोगी जल खेतों को नहीं मिलता। (घ) यदि इस साल भी वर्षा न होती तो सूखा पड़ जाता, अनाज नहीं हो पाता।
Q.3: वर्षा कैसे हो !
(क) बूढी अम्मा ने वर्षा न होने के क्या कारण बताए ?
(ख) क्या तुम बूढ़ी अम्मा की बात से सहमत हो ? अपने उत्तर का कारण भी बताओ ।
Ans : (क) उन्होंने कहा बिना हरियाली वर्षा नहीं होती। जब सारे पेड़ो की अंधाधुंध कटाई हो रही है तो वर्षा होना असंभव सा प्रतीत होता है । (ख) हाँ, हम बूढ़ी अम्मा की बात से सहमत हैं। हमें पेड़ो की कटाई को रोकना चाहिए और नए नए पेड़ लगाने चाहिए जिससे हमारा पर्यावरण शुद्ध और स्वस्थ हो |
Q.4: गाँव और पशु
(क) “इस वर्षा भी आषाढ़ सूखा ही रहा।”
लोक-गीत से जाहिर होता है की गोमा के गांव में तीन साल से वर्षा नहीं हुई थी। वर्षा न होने के कारण उनके गांव के बैलो, खेतों और पेड़ो में क्या बदलाव आए होंगे ?
(ख) सवेरे- सवेरे अपने पशुओं की ये आवाज़ें सुनने के लिए उसके कान तरस गए थे। गोमा ने बहुत समय बाद अपने पशुओं की वे आवाजें सुनी थी। क्यों ?
Ans : (क) वर्षा न होने के कारण धरती प्यासी और पशु बेहाल हो गए होंगे। (ख) सवेरे सवेरे बारिश का मौसम बनते देख पशुओं में मानो जान सी आ गयी थी और वे सभी ख़ुशी से झूम उठे। सभी पशु आवाज़ निकालकर मानो शुभ संकेत दे रहे थे।
Q.5: सोचने की बात
बूढ़ी अम्मा ने कहा, वर्षा अवश्य होगी
(क) तुम्हारे विचार से बूढ़ी अम्मा ने गोमा से यह बात क्यों कही?
(ख) क्या उन्हें मालूम था की इस साल वर्षा होगी? या उन्होंने अपने अनुभव के आधार पर केवल अंदाजा लगाया था?
(ग) वर्षा और पेड़ो के सम्बन्ध के बारे में सोचो। पांच-पांच बच्चों के समूह बनाकर इस बारे में बातचीत करो । फिर सबको अपने समूह के विचार बताओ ।
Ans : (क) गोमा का मनोबल बढ़ाने के लिए बूढी अम्मा ने यह बात कही | (ख) उन्होंने अपने अनुभव के आधार पर केवल अंदाजा लगाया था। (ग) वर्षा और पेड़-पौधों का एक-दूसरे से गहरा संबंध है | यदि वर्षा नहीं होगी तो पेड़-पौधे सुख जाएंगे और यदि पेड़-पौधे न हो तो वर्षा भी कम होगी | पर्यावरण का संतुलन बिगड़ जाएगा |
